I just had to pick up a bubbly on my last wine outing, and thus grabbed this interesting red. I was actually hunting for a Gloria Ferrer Royal Cuvee, but they didn't have it. But the interesting thing is that I have been griping over the lack of available sparkling wines to purchase that have the higher concentrations (dosage) of sugar; I think that they would do well in the American market.

This wine wins on both color, sweetness and low alcoholic content, making it a great deal to serve the ladies. The flavor in itself reminds me somewhat of light strawberry and maybe a little raspberry in it as well. The color is a very nice medium red.

I would recommend this wine at the end of a meal, as in with dessert, or just with desserts and/or fruits and cheeses.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
